A litter pick has been planned on Dartmoor due to the litter left behind following the snow last week.
Large numbers of people flocked to the moors to enjoy the snow, unfortunately, some leaving their litter behind.
The litter pick has been arranged for Sunday 10th February.
Dartmoor National Park posted on Facebook: “Due to the concerning amount of litter left behind on Haytor after the snow, Assistant Ranger Stuart will now be leading a litter pick at this Sunday’s Haytor volunteer event.
“The original plan for the volunteer group was to carry out some habitat management for the Pearl Bordered Fritillary butterfly. The habitat management task will now take place on Sunday 10 March.
“Thank you all for understanding and we hope to see you at Haytor this Sunday 10 February ready to make it spick and span! If you are interested in coming along, please email Assistant Ranger Stuart at shooppell@dartmoor.gov.uk.”
