There are still major delays for traffic in Torquay and Paignton today following a collision on the A380 this morning, Saturday 10th August.
Marldon Way was closed both ways following the serious collision to allow for investigation work to take place. It is now partially open.
One person was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
In Paignton Torquay Road and Marine Drive are heavily congested.
In Preston, Torquay road has major delays and in Torquay, Newton Road, Avenue Road and Shiphay Lane are still experiencing major delays.
Other routes are also experiencing congestion as drivers try to find alternative, quicker routes.
