A man has been airlifted to hospital following a collision on the South Devon Highway this evening, 6th July.
Emergency services were called to reports of an accident at around 7.15pm.
A car and trailer overturned on the Northbound carriageway.
Police, fire and ambulance services attended along with the air ambulance which transported the male driver, who had sustained serious injuries, to Derriford Hospital.
Both sides of the carriageway were closed whilst the air ambulance landed. The Northbound carriageway remains closed this evening.
