A man has been arrested following a stabbing in Totnes today, 20 April.
A 24-year-old man from Totnes has arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm with intent and is currently in custody, following the incident earlier this morning.
Emergency services were called to reports of a disturbance on Queens Terrace just before 4.30am.
Police found a man with a stab wound nearby, his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. He was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.
DC Phil Harrison said: “We would like to reassure the community that there is no wider threat to members of the public from this isolated incident.”
