A man has been charged following a serious assault in Brixham last week.
Police investigating the incident which happened at The Quay on Friday 14th June have charged a man in connection with the incident.
Gary Humphreys, 48, of Briseham Close, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon.
He appeared at Plymouth Magistrates Court this morning, Wednesday 19th June.

m Brixham who was also arrested in connection to the incident has been released.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was airlifted to Derriford Hospital remains in a critical condition.
