Man dies after being pulled from sea in Teigmouth

A man has died after being pulled from the sea at Teignmouth last night, 26th May.

The 22-year-old from High Wycombe was rescued from the water by the RNLI after getting into difficulty whilst operating a jet ski

Paramedics carried out CPR on the man, he was taken to Torbay District Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.His next of kin has been informed.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and police are preparing a file for HM Coroner.

Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area and witnessed the incident to contact them via 101@dc.police.uk or by telephone on 101 quoting log 0877 26/05/20.
