A man has died following an incident in Brixham this morning, 10th September.
Police are investigating following the death of a man this morning. They were called to an incident in the Hillside/Burton Road area of the town. It is reported that an assault had taken place. Police forced entry to the property and found a man requiring medical attention. CPR was given whilst waiting for medical help but the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police, ambulance and the air ambulance attended. People in the area say that police dogs also attended and were seen with their handlers near Brixham hospital.
Police have stated that enquires are still at a very early stage but they would like to reassure members of the public and residents of Brixham that this is an isolated incident and they are not looking for anyone else in relation to the enquiry.

The air ambulance landed nearby.
