Man suffers life threatening injuries in collision involving stolen moped

A man is in hospital with life threatening injuries following a collision in Torquay late last night, Monday 6 September.

Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving stolen moped and a recovery vehicle on Hamelin Way at around 10.35pm.

A number of people fled the scene following the collision.

The road was closed for approximately 3 hours to allow for an examination of the scene and recovery of the vehicles.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team are appealing for any witnesses of the incident to contact Police on Tel: 101 quoting log 1061 06/09/2021.
