​The body of a man has been found in a canal in Exeter.

Police were called to the canal on The Quay around 12.50pm yesterday (28th December).

A police cordon was set up whilst the body was recovered, assisted by the police dive team.
The man, thought to be in his 60s has not yet been formally identified. Police are making enquiries to identify the man.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
