Police have confirmed that a mans body was recovered from the Jetty Marsh area today Saturday, 26th July.
The area was sealed off for much of the day, with police, police divers, ,police helicopter and fire service at the scene of the incident.
The road was closed and the path leading to the Whitelakes Outfall Structure was cordoned off.
The man’s body was recovered from the river by specialist police divers.
The man has yet to be identified.
