Update: The incident involved a van which collided with a tree. The driver is reported to have left the scene.
The Milber back road is currently closed in both directions this morning, Friday 11th January due to a serious collision.
The accident happened around 4am.
Police remain at the scene and accident investigation work is taking place.
The road is closed between Twickenham Road to Connybear Lane.
Traffic is coping well with the diversions in place.
