Missing Paignton woman last seen in Newton Abbot

Update: Jean’s grandson has informed us that she has been found safe and well. Police have confirmed this morning.

Police have appealed to the public to help them locate a missing Paignton woman who was last seen in Market Square, Newton Abbot.

Have you seen Torbay man wanted by police?

Police have asked the public to call 999 quoting log number 482 of Tuesday 10 July if she is seen.

Police say they are growing concerned for the welfare of 76-year-old Jean Ross from Paignton.

Jean was last seen outside in Market Square, Newton Abbot at around 1.30pm today.

Jean is described as 5 feet 6 inchs tall and of medium build. She has white, shoulder length hair and wears glasses on a chain. She is wearing a white vest top with a pink palm print on it, aqua and white ¾ length leggings and carries a white handbag.

Anyone who sees Jean or has any information is asked to contact police on 999 quoting log number 482 of Tuesday 10 July.
