A Torquay teenager has passed away after being found in Babbacombe in a poorly condition.
The 16 year old girl had been reported missing on Tuesday evening.
Emergency services searched the local area by foot and air in a search involving the Coastguard and Police helicopter.
The girl was found in the early hours of Wednesday morning outside of the theatre in Babbacombe. Despite efforts by medics, the girl was sadly pronounced dead at Torbay hospital.
The teenagers family have been informed but she has not yet formally been identified.
Police have stated that they are not treating the death as suspicious.
