Police in Dartmouth have appealed for witnesses after a mobility scooter was stolen and damaged at the weekend.
Police say the owner of the scooter has now lost her independence because of the incident.
A spokesperson for Dartmouth Police said:
“Late afternoon on Saturday 10th June 2017 a red mobility scooter was taken from outside block 7-12 Jubilee Close Dartmouth.
“The scooter was recovered damaged at 1850hrs in the playpark off Mayflower Close. Did anyone see a mobility scooter being moved/driven/carried between Jubilee Close and Mayflower Close?
“We would like to hear from anybody that has information about this incident. The owner of the scooter has lost her independence because of this incident,”
