A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a lorry yesterday, Monday 13 September.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a black Mutt 125cc motorbike and a lorry at the top of the southbound off-slip of the A38, at the junction with Dartbridge Road, at around 8.10pm.
A 27-year-old woman, who was riding the motorcycle sustained serious leg injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital for treatment. The 51-year-old lorry driver was uninjured.
The road was closed for approximately three hours whilst officers conducted an examination of the scene.
The Devon and Cornwall Police Roads Policing Team would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, has any information or dashcam footage that could help with their enquiries.
