Police have appealed for witnesses following a collision involving a motorcycle near Newton Abbot yesterday, Monday 6 February.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision on the off-slip of the A38 for the A383 at Goodstone Cross, near Newton Abbot, at around 1pm.
The rider of the motorcycle, a local man in his 50s, was taken to Derriford Hospital with potentially life changing injuries.
The road was closed in both directions between Drumbridges and Ashburton until around 2pm for investigation work to take place, with the eastbound off-slip remaining closed until 5.45pm.
