Research by the New Economics Foundation (2008) shows there are 5 things which can significantly improve your mental wellbeing. These include connecting to people, learning new skills, being active, taking notice of your surroundings and giving something back to your community.

They are known as Connect, Keep Learning, Be Active, Take Notice and Give.

Many of us are already doing the 5 Ways to Wellbeing and we really want to see what keeps you well in Torbay and South Devon. You can do this by sharing your wellbeing image by using the hashtag #MyWayToWellbeing

If you would like a chance to enter our competition then please send your photo to 5Ways@torbay.gov.uk. Your image could also become part of our Torbay and South Devon 5 Ways to Wellbeing campaign*. For competition terms and conditions to https://www.torbay.gov.uk/5-ways

All photo competition prizes are linked to the 5 ways to wellbeing and have kindly been donated by the following organisations: K & H Cockington Carriages, River Dart Country Park, Sea Kayak Devon, Torquay’s Dinosaur World, Torquay Museum, Treasure Trails, Winners2000, and Woodlands Family Theme Park.

*Under 16s will need parental permission
