New Public Spaces Protection Order for Hopes Nose and Berry Head

Torbay residents, organisations and businesses are invited to attend the next Mayor’s Forum, which is taking place at 6 pm on Wednesday 16 January.

Hosted by Torbay’s Elected Mayor Gordon Oliver, the evening event at the Riviera International Conference Centre (RICC) will give everyone the opportunity to hear about new projects and future plans being carried out by the council and its partners.

The forum will cover a variety of subjects, including:

· Cavanna Homes – Keith Miller

· Pierpoint – Paul Feasey, Active Hospitality solutions Ltd

· Ring Road / Windy Corner – Ian Jones, Torbay Council

· Hi-Tech & Digital Centre, South Devon College – Stephen Criddle & Laurence Frewin

· Torwood Street Development – Peter Tisdale, THAT Group

· Oxen Cove Landing Jetty – Adam Parnell, Harbourmaster

· TDA – Alan Denby

There will presentations and further information on each subjects released closer to the event.

Torbay’s Elected Mayor, Gordon Oliver, said: “I would like to take this opportunity to invite you along to my next public forum where a range of organisations and businesses and myself will be sharing and updating you on all of the developments that are taking place across Torbay.

“I believe this evening will be enlightening and provide interesting updates on some of the key projects and developments that are taking place within the local community.

“Everyone is welcome and the forum will take place in the Rosetor Room, Riviera International Conference Centre starting at 6 pm. Doors open at 5:30pm.”

Parking for the event is free.
