Paignton car fire thought to be deliberate 

​Fire crews were called to a car fire at a car park in Paignton this evening, Tuesday 1st November.

One fire engine from Paignton was mobilised to the incident near Totnes Road.

A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “Upon arrival crews confirmed one vehicle well alight which they extinguished using breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet, small tools and hydraulic cutting equipment.

“The cause of the fire is thought to be deliberate which resulted in the vehicle being completely destroyed,”
