Paignton Zoo have announced their re-opening date.
The zoo closed in March due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The zoo will open on Monday 6th July. They will open exclusively for annual pass holders for the first 2 days. All visits must be pre-booked.
A spokesperson for Paignton Zoo posted on their Facebook page: “We’re delighted to announce that Paignton Zoo will be officially re-opening on Monday 6th July!
“As a thank you for their ongoing support, the first two days (Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th July) will be reserved for our Annual Pass holders only. From Wednesday 8th July, the zoo will then be open to all the general public.
“ALL guests INCLUDING Annual Pass holders will have to pre-book an arrival time slot for a specific date via our online booking system.
“You can now book your day tickets and/or time slot for the first two weeks from 6th July through the link on this webpage: www.paigntonzoo.org.uk/plan-your-visit/updates.
“Things will look a little different at the zoo, so please ensure you read the full information and FAQs about safety measures and our re-opening on the above link too.
“Please also bear with us during this extremely busy time as we work hard to answer all of your enquiries.
All of our team and animals are so excited to welcome you back to the zoo in a few weeks time!”
