Paignton Zoo is closed today due to the weather.
A red weather has been issued by the met office, more here.
Posting on social media, a spokesperson for Paignton Zoo said:
“Weather update 01/03/2018: Due to the adverse weather conditions and the red weather warning issued by the Met Office, the Zoo will be closed today. Our number one priority is the safety of all visitors, staff and the animals.
“We will continue to review the conditions ahead of tomorrow and post regular updates. Please take care,”
Schools and businesses across the area have closed due to the weather.
