Paignton zoo is set to welcome two new tigers this week .

Sisters Carrie and Padme who are 2-years-old will be arriving from Ree Park Safari in Denmark.

The sisters will be moving into the old lion exhibit, with the lions being moved over to the old tiger exhibit.

Paignton Zoo currently has no tigers following the death of it’s last tiger, Shakira earlier this month. Shakira was the only tiger at the zoo after Lucu (Shakira’s offspring) was sent to Edinburgh Zoo in November to be part of a breeding programme.
