Pam raises money to help make cattery purrfect

Blue Cross Volunteer Pam Lee hands Lorna Sheppard (Fundraising chair,)The cheque for £1000

Blue Cross Volunteer Pam Lee braved the sea on Boxing Day to raise funds for the Torbay Blue Cross Rehoming Centres Winter Warmer Fund.

Pam joined many others doing the Boxing Day Dip in Torquay and raised money to help the centre  purchase Polycarbonate boards to cover the mesh on the two catteries over the winter months. The boards will help to keep the accommodation much warmer and the cats dry in the outer part of their pens, as well as not restricting their view.

Fundraising Chair Lorna Sheppard Said:

“We are very grateful to Pam for braving the sea to help our centre and also to all of her sponsors particularly the owners of the Torbay Court Hotel Paignton, as well as friends and colleagues of Coach Link Group Holidays who have generously donated to help the cats and kittens in our care.”
