A man was airlifted to Derriford hospital with serious head injuries following a collision in Totnes yesterday, Sunday 12 February.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving pedestrian and a Daihatsu Terios on the A385, Brutus Bridge at around 4.10pm.
The pedestrian, a man in his 30s from Totnes remains in hospital in a serious condition.
The road was closed for around 10 hours for police to conduct an examination of the scene.
Police have appealed for witnesses and dashcam footage. Call 101 quoting log 557 of 12/02/23.
