Emergency services were called to reports of a collision on the A38 late last night, Tuesday, 25th July.
The collision, involving 2 vehicles happened near Drumbridges roundabout at around 10.30pm.
Police, fire and ambulance crews attended the incident in which one person was trapped in a car.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said on their website:
“Upon arrival crews confirmed a two vehicle collision, with one person trapped in a car. Crews used two set of hydraulic rescue equipment to release the casualty from the car. The casualty was transferred to hospital by ambulance,”
The road was closed until this morning.
The persons condition is currently unknown.
