Person dies after being hit by train near Exmouth

Trains are currently delays between Exeter St Davids and Exmouth due to a person being hit by a train this afternoon, Wednesday 15th May.

The person has sadly died. Police are working to identify the person and inform their next of kin.

Trains will not run between Exeter Central and Exmouth and may also be cancelled throughout.

Disruption is expected until 17:30.

Customers may use their tickets on Stagecoach Bus services 56, 57, H, J and T.

#Exeter We are currently experiencing heavy loadings and delays to our 57 services due to the Railway line being currently closed.

Replacement buses will run between Exeter Central and Exmouth.
