Drugs to be trashed at Torquay pubs and clubs

Update: British transport police have confirmed the person has died.
The ambulance service was called but the person was pronounced dead at the scene

There have been delays on the railway this morning after a person was hit by a train in Dawlish.

Services may be cancelled or delayed and replacement road transport is being put in place.

Emergency services are at the scene. There is currently no information on the person that has been hit.

A spokesperson for National Rail said: “Emergency services are dealing with an incident near Dawlish which means there are delays of up to 60 minutes to journeys between Exeter St Davids and Newton Abbot.”

Due to a person struck by a train between Exeter St Davids – Newton Abbot lines are blocked. Services may be cancelled/delayed up to 60 mins
