Police appeal after boy inappropriately touched at Brixham event

Police are appealing for information after a teenage boy reported being touched inappropriately at an event in Brixham at the weekend.

A 13-year-old boy, from Totnes, was sexually assaulted by a man in the temporary toilets during the Hap’nin Event at St Mary’s Park at around 8.45pm on Saturday 11 July.

The suspect was wearing a black t-shirt and has moles and freckles on his arms.

Detective Constable Stacey Billingham, Torquay CID, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed this assault or has any information that could assist our enquiries.

“We would also like to hear from anyone else who may have experienced something of a similar nature in the toilets whilst at the event.”
