Police have appealed to the public to find a lorry driver who is a potential witness to a fatal motorcycle collision on the A38 last week.
The single vehicle collision involving a motorbike, on the A38 at Chudleigh Knighton happened at 2.45am on Thursday 25th July.
The rider, a 33-year-old man from Newton Abbot, was confirmed deceased at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed. Formal identity is yet to take place.
The serious Collisions Investigation Team are keen to identify a lorry driver as a potential witness.
The lorry was seen travelling westbound on the A38 in the area of Chudleigh in the early hours of Thursday 25 July. This driver may be able to provide an eyewitness account or have vital dash camera footage.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or may have been in the area at the time and have dashcam footage are asked to contact MPC 5351 TYLER-JONES at the Serious Collisions Investigation Team on 01392 226295 quoting log number 94 for 25 July.
