Police appeal for information after motor vehicle thefts in Newton Abbot

Missing Exeter girl found safe and well

Police in Newton Abbot have appealed for information following the theft of 2 motor vehicles.

One vehicle was stolen from Kingskerswell and another from Buckland.

Posting on Facebook, a spokesperson for Newton Abbot Police said: “Overnight between the 9th and 10th May 2023 a Volkswagen Golf GTD in black was stolen from Southey Crescent, Kingskerswell. (Crime Reference 5023013774)

“Between the 5th and 12th May 2023, a Mercedes Benz Vito passenger van has been stolen from a car park on Raleigh Road in Buckland. (Crime Reference 50230139687)

“If you know any information that can assist us with our investigation please contact us via our website or by calling 101 quoting the crime references above.

“We will continue to increase our presence in the area but are asking the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately.”
