Police appeal for information after power tools stolen

Police have appealed for witnesses after power tools were stolen from a van in Torquay last month.

Tools valued at just over £6000 were stolen from a white Fiat Doble van which was parked on Teignmouth Road near Cuthbert Maybe school.

The incident happened sometime between 9am and midnight on 5th September

Stolen items include a Topcon dual grade laser, complete with a target/charger in a yellow box, worth £2,300; a Topcon dumpy level, worth £795, and Makita and Stihl disc cutters, worth £500 each, similar to those pictured.

Officers are also keen to hear from anyone who has seen any of the items or been offered them for sale.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw any suspicious vehicle or individual in the area at the time of the offence to contact them.

Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is asked to call 101 or email 101@devonandcornwall.pnn.police.uk, quoting reference CR/063363/15.

Information can also be passed to Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111, or via crimestoppers-uk.org.
