Police have appealed for witnesses after a man was found collapsed in Torwood Gardens, Torquay late on Monday night, 27 November.
Detectives are investigating the circumstances that led to the man collapsing. He was found at approximately 11.45pm.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance, his condition has been described as life threatening.
Detective Inspector Nicky Baker said: “We are particularly seeking any witnesses who saw anyone in Torwood Gardens between 9pm and 11.45pm on Monday 27 November.
“Equally, if anyone has any footage relating to people in the gardens and has not made police aware, including any dashcam footage, please get in touch.”
A 26-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man, both from Torquay, have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. They remain in police custody.
