Police appeal for witnesses after woman assaulted in Torquay

Police have appealed for witnesses following an assault in Torquay which left a woman with a broken wrist.

The assault took at the taxi rank on The Strand on Thursday 28th December at around 3.30am

The victim, a 22-year-old woman from Teignmouth was pushed to the ground by unknown offenders and she sustained a broken wrist. Her purse was also thrown into the road.

Police are appealing for witnesses and are keen to hear from anyone who can help police identify those involved in the assault.
