Police appeal for witnesses following Brixham attack

Police have appealed for witnessed following an unprovoked attack in Brixham.

A 25 year old local man was attacked by a group of men whilst walking through the town on Sunday 25th October, he was knocked to the ground and kicked until he was unconscious. The incident happened between 2am and 3am.

He woke up to discover he had been robbed. His black Samsung S5 mobile phone, orange wallet containing cash and cards, and a pair of black Nike trainers had been stolen.

The victim suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident.

Detective Constable Dixie Dean, Torbay CID, said: “This was an unprovoked attack on a man walking home alone from a night out and the victim cannot recall much of the incident.

“We want to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident in the early hours of Sunday 25 October, or who has any information that could assist with the investigation.”
