Police appeal for witnesses following Kingskerwell collision

At approximately 7:50am on Thursday 5th February, emergency services were called to a serious road traffic collision on the A380 Newton Road, in Kingskerswell on the Priory Road junction, involving a black Triumph motorcycle and a Ford Fiesta.

The male motorcyclist, a 28 year old man from Torquay, was taken to Torbay District Hospital with serious foot and lower leg injuries.

The Exeter bound lane of Newton Road was closed whilst officers carried out a survey of the scene and reopened at around midday.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101 quoting police 89 for the 5th of February.
