Police have appealed for witnesses following an assault in Paignton last week.
Police were called to reports of a man pinning a woman to the floor on Victoria Street, at around 5.30pm on Thursday 14 November. Police say that the suspect also caused damage to the door at Costa Coffee.
Police would also like to speak to a man that intervened and challenged the suspect but left before the arrival of the police.
A 38-year-old man from Torquay, has been arrested on suspicion of assault and criminal damage and released on police bail.
