Police appeal for witnesses following Paignton incidents

Paignton Neighbourhood Policing Team have appealed for witnesses following reports of a man making inappropriate comments to women in the Paignton area.

They have appealed for any witnesses or victims to come forward following several reports of incidents in the Paignton and Preston seafront areas.

Posting on social media, Paignton Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “We have received a number of complaints since early February from females who have been using the footpaths around Paignton and Preston seafronts and have been approached by a male with a bicycle who has then made inappropriate comments towards them.

“We are currently investigating several offences but would be keen to hear from anyone else who may be a victim of this abuse or have witnessed it.
