Police appeal for witnesses following serious collision

Hyde Road closed following collision

​Police have appealed for witnesses following a serious collision on the A38 yesterday.

Police were called to reports of a two vehicle collision at Kennford near Exeter at 10.30am.

The incident happened on the Southbound carriageway, both carriageways were closed temporarily whilst the air ambulance landed.

A 54 year old man was taken to Derriford Hospital and has since been released

Police are appealing for witnesses who can help with their enquiries, in particular, the driver of a red Audi A4 or A5 Saloon which stopped at the scene.
