Ivybridge Police have appealed for information following 3 egg throwing incidents incidents.

They took to Facebook to appeal to the public after eggs and milk were thrown at children and local shops.

Police are urging the public to contact them if they know who is responsible.

Posting to Facebook, they said:

“In the last week there have been 3 incidents where eggs and milk have been thrown at school children from a passing vehicle. This has obviously shocked and scared the children and is an unprovocked attack. The vehicle has been described as a black vehicle and enquries are on-going to identify it.
Crimes are CR/002042/15, CR/002692/15 & CR/002695/15 and you can contact us via PM or 101.

The local shops have also been targeted in the same manner and we …believe it is the same persons involved and we urge anyone who knows who is responsible to contact us with names so that we can take further action against them.

A group of people were recently identified as causing Anti-social behaviour in School Drive and they have all been sent 1st stage ASB letters.
We are taking this seriously and we want the community to help us deal with this issue also,”
