Police appeal for information after handbag stolen from vehicle

Police have appealed for information after a handbag was stolen from a vehicle in a car park yesterday lunchtime.

The incident happened at Hembury Woods, Buckfastleigh in the main car park at around Midday.

The rear window of a white Hyundai was smashed and a handbad was stolen.

A spokesperson for Chudleigh and Ashburton Policing area said:
“We had a call at the time to say a black car was seen driving away from the scene but we were unable to trace it.
Were you in the area at the time? Did you see a black car with occupants acting suspiciously? If you have any information can you please contact 101 by email at 101@dc.police.uk and quote log 403 20/11/2016,”
