Police appeal to public to help locate missing Devon teenager

Update: Found safe and well.

Police have appealed to the public to help them locate a missing 16-year-old boy from Devon.

[Name removed] failed to return home last night, Sunday 4th August.

Police say he is possibly with friends in the Ivybridge area and have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.

Ivybridge & Rural Police posted on Facebook this afternoon: “Police have been informed that 16 year old [name removed] is missing from his home address in Ivybridge after failing to return last night 04/08/2019. He is possibly with friends in and around the Ivybridge area but may have travelled further afield. If you have teenage children out and about today, please make contact with them to check who they are with and what they are up to. If you see Leon or have information about his whereabouts, please contact Police via 101, please do not report sightings via facebook. DCP-20190805-0271 relates,”
