Police have appealed for information following a serious collision this morning, 5th May.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident near Totnes Christmas Trees on Higher Plymouth Road, Totnes just before 9am.
The collision involved a motorbike and a car. The male motorcyclist was airlifted to Derriford hospital. The female driver suffered minor injuries.
Police have appealed specifically to the driver of a white van who was travelling from Avonwick to Totnes between 8.45am and 9am this morning as he may be a vital witness to the collision.
The road is still closed in both directions with motorists advised to use the A385.
