Police appeal for witnesses following Totnes assault

Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Totnes which left a man with a fractured hand.

Police are investigating an incident which occurred between 10.30am and 11am on Thursday 8 March 2018 in Morrison’s Supermarket car park in Totnes and involved a man in a small hatchback and two occupants in a red recovery truck.

Following an altercation, the man in the hatchback car received an injury to his hand.

The men in the truck then left the scene.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward and are particularly keen to speak to anyone who was in the carpark or bus stop opposite at the time.

Anyone who can assist with information is asked to contact police via 101@dc.police.uk or by phone on 101, quoting crime reference CR/020216/18.
