Posting on Facebook today, Totnes police said:
“Over the past couple of weekends, KEVICC has had persons break in and cause significant damage about the school, including letting off life saving fire extinguishers.

“As you can see, the damage is completely mindless. This does not just affect the school financially, but also the pupils who attend, who won’t have access to the equipment they need.

“If you know who is responsible, please get in touch. If you have no idea what your children (there is evidence the offenders are teenagers) are up to late at night over the weekends or you suspect your child is involved, please take some responsibility and help us all to stop this happening,”
