Posting on Facebook, Totnes Police said: “Last night, officers from Brixham, Paignton, Totnes, the Special Constabulary and of course Drugs Dog, PD Holly and her handler, carried out multiple licensed premises visits around Brixham and Totnes.

Numerous persons were detained and searched under the ‘Misuse of Drugs Act’ and quantities of controlled drugs were seized. #OpOlympic #OpAppleRose

Many thanks indeed to the staff and patrons of the premises visited for their co-operation.

We are keen to hear from anyone who is concerned about illegal drugs or drug-related crime in their neighbourhood.

If you have any concerns, contact Totnes Police via totnes@dc.police.uk or by calling 101. If you don’t want to speak to the police directly, you can call the anonymous Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.”
