Police in Torquay, supported by the police helicopter, were called to help locate a woman in the early hours of this morning, Monday 12th February.
NPAS Exeter (National Police Air Service) posted an image taken with their thermal imaging camera on twitter, describing the incident as a “search for a female considering suicide”
The woman was located by police. NPAS Exeter posted to Twitter: “0400 hrs – Torquay Marina assisting @DC_Police with a search for female considering suicide. Female located using our thermal image camera and officers guided in to offer assistance. Female now safe. D&C log 51 of 12/2,”
