Police are investigating an attack that took place on the High Street in Totnes last month.
The incident happened between 11:50pm on Friday 21 January and 1am on Saturday 22 January. Two people were attacked, with a man in his 20’s sustaining a number of serious facial and head injuries. The injuries of the second man are unknown and police are appealing for him to come forward.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said “It is alleged that the suspect retrieved a weapon from a near-by vehicle and used this in the attack on the two victims.
“We believe that a second person was also assaulted during the same incident but has yet to have contacted the police; the victims had just left the Barrel House Pub in Totnes prior to the attack.”
Police are appealing for witnesses and urge the second victim to come forward as they could hold evidence vital to the investigation.
