Emergency services were called to a man threatening to jump from cliffs in the early hours of this morning.
Berry Head Coastguard were tasked by the police at 3.50am to assist them at Churston Cove. Torbay Coastguard also received a full team page to assist.
The teams provided lighting for the police negotiators and eventually assisted with escorting the casualty safely back to Fishcombe Camp. The man was then given relevant care.
It was the 3rd call out of the year for both Berry Head Coastguard and Torbay Coastguard.
