Following the Prime Minister’s announcement that the theatre industry will continue on May 17th, IKP are delighted to be able to announce that their panto Treasure Island will be going ahead!
Beware me hearties… here there be pirates!
From the company that brought you the sold tour of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (Delightfully Daft-The Stage), IKP bring a spectacularly silly swashbuckling adventure this Summer as Treasure Island: The Panto sails into town. Join Jim as he sets out on a Summer Panto adventure to find buried gold, encountering pirates a-plenty in this folk-inspired outdoor performance. Tickets are on sale now for all performances, with family shows at every venue and select grown-up evening performances for the more mature seaman.
IKP’s Managing Director, Joe Hackett, says “After the year we’ve all had, we’re really keen to get back out on the road and bring some fun and laughter to families around the country. This pop-up panto is a great way for families, friends and communities to come together and have a night out and a laugh again in a safe and socially distanced way”.
Tickets for the show are just £12, so it won’t cost an arm and a (peg)leg, so book your family adventure now before the ship has sailed!
At select venues, IKP present a more grown-up version of Treasure Island for an older audience. Prepare for rattling bones and lots of able seamen in this evening adventure for only the more mature sailer which contains strong language, innuendo and scenes of a sexual nature – not suitable for under 14s.
