Primary school allocations for Torbay for September 2020 have been announced and parents contacted to inform them of the decision.

This year, 92% of parents have received their first preference of school, and 97.8% received one of their preferences.

Councillor Cordelia Law, Cabinet Member for Children’s Services for Torbay Council, said: “We’re very pleased that the vast majority of parents who applied for a school place have received their first preference, and I would encourage any parents who have not yet applied to please do so as soon as possible.

“If you do wish to appeal a decision you can do this via our website: https://www.torbay.gov.uk/schools-and-learning/admissions/admissions-appeals/ ”

There’s still time to apply

Don’t forget, if you haven’t yet applied for a place you can find all the information you need on the council’s web site at https://www.torbay.gov.uk/schools-and-learning/admissions/primary-place-2020/
